Good piece about Woods' deplorable behavior on the course.

My BIL says Tiger is a “golfing god” and his private life is
“none of his business.”

I wanted him to lose too. He’s like a weird, boring robot or something.

What a difference between Mickelson and Tiger. Phil, the dedicated family man and a class act on the course. Then there’s Tiger.....

My gripe is that they show EVERY SINGLE SHOT Tiger makes, yet some of the golfers AHEAD of him on the scorecard are hardly seen at all. I understand Tiger has helped boost the PGA’s ratings and all, but can’t they just cover it the same as they always did? Hell, we even have to watch Tiger drink from his water bottle. The MSM is pathetic.

Tiger is indeed a low class, punk. Cussing and whining. I was glad that a classy guy like Phil could pull it off! Phil has REAL baggage that’s not self imposed. Both his Mother and wife suffer from breast cancer. To me, that takes a hell of a lot more focus and courage than anything going on in Tigers life!

I think going in a lot of people were rooting for Tiger, but the cussing was the last straw, and the contrast of Phil Mickelson’s family life really has now painted Tiger as the bad guy, even to those who used to root for him.

I saw one clip...it was Tiger hitting a bad shot, and shouting “Awe...Tiger!”.

I can see how other golfers on the tour would not have missed him one bit.

And just think, all he had to do to avoid all this was stay faithful to his wife...uhhh!!What a horrible thought.

If anything, what this points out is that like with most sports, it's 90% image and 10% skill/talent/ability.

Tiger is skill/talent/ability wise, still probably the best, all-around golfer in the world and will probably continue to be for many years to come. However, as the article states in its conclusion, his 'image' is gone forever, and that will follow and overshadow his abilities for the rest of his career.

I’ve never liked Tiger. I thought he was a spoiled child who did not respect the game as much as he should have and threw tantrums on the course. It’s one thing to respect his considerable abilities (even if they may have been chemically enhanced) and quite another to respect him as a person.

Tiger is very much like Obama, they are both narcissists!

I said it then, and I’ll say it now. Tiger should play the villian like he was in the WWF. Go on the green dressed like a pimp. Crush his enemies and taunt them. Hold up pics of the babes he nailed and say “That’s how Tiger rolls”. Really play it up. Even I would watch golf-and I would usually rather be in a Turkish prison.

Wonder what Tiger's future holds, given that he cannot even control his mouth on bad shots. Does not bode well, IMHO. Anyway; all to pathetic. Particularly on what should have been a 'humble' reappearance.

Resented even more the media event before he stepped on course. No matter the reason; he finds a way; like Obama; to make it all about himself! Yes, wanted him to lose; and even then; Tiger made a big deal- resenting his slice of 'humlbe pie'.

This Tiger has changed his stripes; at least, from what 'we' see now.

Never put a mortal man too far up on a high pedestal. They don’t belong nor do they stay up there forever.

The tide is definitely turning against Tiger and I’m not sure he deserves it. But then, he didn’t earn the adulation, either. Being the best in the world at one thing does not a complete man make.

All that’s missing are the tattoos all over his arms and and we got the PNGBA, Professional National Golf Basketball Association.

I have never watched golf for three hours but I left the channel on the Masters and caught most of the match.

I was as animated as I am for Oakland Raider football. I had a great time yelling and cheering against Tiger.

WOOHOO!! whens the next match? Tigger is going down
