Financially, how do you get money to TEA Party organizations? I get tons of emails soliciting donations and want to give money (ok, after tax season I want to give money, right now I just want to weep), but I have no way of knowing if they are legitimate. Does anyone have a list of responsible local, regional, national TEA organizations?
The Tea Party really does not need money in the sense that a political org needs money. The Tea Party is a personal involvment movement. In other words they need YOU and as many of you friends as you can.
Give time, not money. Support candidates directly.
That “support” probably will help vote splitters like the one in the Nevada senate race, that is helping Dingy Harry.
Gave some money to the Tea Party Express the last time they came through town, but I don’t consider them to be the “real” Tea Party.
In other words, the Tea Party is politically naive to the point of being suicidal.
This is how you support the TEA PARTIES..you join your local Republican party as a Precinct Committee person and you support the most conservative person running and convince people to vote for him/her. That’s how you show your support.
Join a local TEA Party and donate your time.
What I do is consider myself a traveling body. I am retired so I pack my bag and head to DC when there is a call to go.
It was a thrill to stand on the tire of the construction equipment in front of the House office bldg and chant “Nancy” “Naaaancy”. So sad that a few minutes later the “faked” racial incident occurred.
But I go.
What I would really like to do it get a group together that has campers and travel to states that need help with elections - stuffing envelopes - whatever.
A week here - a week there. It would be fun. I would be tenting it - since the crash took 2/3 of my retirement but who cares - I live small - I’m in it for the long haul.
TEA Parties have no central leader - thank God.
Attend the parties. Bring a sign that calls for smaller government (in a civil way).
Or maybe one that just says “FUBO”.
I told her about the leftist plans to infiltrate; she was appreciative.
The more I interact with flyover country, the more I like it. They are my people.
