They should stick Jerry Jones in there before the implosion.

Is this the right room for an argument?
“That aside lets take a look at the Texas Stadium history and honor the longtime home of the Dallas Cowboys....”
Let’s not... not because I hate the cowboys but hate football and texas all in the same breath....

I wonder if Dallas is the first town to have two sports complex demolitions in the same year, Reunion Arena was taken down earlier this year.

It's also probably another end of an era here in Dallas:
This the end? Modano returns to where it started
If anyone did not get a chance to see the Stars fans paying tribute to Modano the other night, try to find it on YouTube, it was truly a special moment.
Thanks Mike for all the great memories.

I first watched the Cowboys play in the Cotton Bowl when Eddie LeBaron was the quarterback. I left Texas in 1967 and never watched them play in Texas Stadium. I only saw the place from the outside, coming in/out of DFW on later visits, but I thought it was the ugliest stadium I had ever seen. Glad to see it go.

The implosion will be sponsored by Kraft Macaroni & Cheese oddly enough, because nothing says buy macaroni & cheese like an implosion.LOL

Very sad to see it go.
I wish I could have visited the dome with the hole in the roof...

Just turn it into a jail for the Cowboys.

One of my brothers was a member of MacArthur High School Class of '75. The class was so big, they held the ceremony in Texas Stadium.
Somewhere my folks have a pic of him standing on the 50 yard line getting his diploma.

I’m betting that FoxNews breaks away for a commercial and has to show the implosion via video tape.
They have a history of doing just that.

I played HS football in that staudium. Damn shame to see it go down and what a WASTE of resources. They couldn't figure out a better use for it like renting / leasing for big games in local school districts or filling in the building with internal supports and making an office building out of it????
Blowing up a perfectly good building is a criminal waste but never underestimate the power of stupid people with explosives.
