The Greater Black Sea Basin (GBSB) the region between the middle of the Adriatic Sea in the west and the middle of the Caspian Sea in the east, between the Russian landmass in the north and the Turkish-Persian landmass in the south is fast becoming Europes latest tinderbox.
Although traditional geographic textbooks identify the borderline between Europe and Asia as the line stretching westwards along the water-crest of the Caucasus Mountains and then arching southwards through the center of the Turkish Straits and then hugging the Greek littoral westwards, the legacy of the Cold War and the dissolution of the Soviet Union put the entire GBSB within the confines of Europes geopolitics and geoeconomics.
Hence, the rapidly boiling cauldron which the GBSB has become is first and foremost Europes challenge.
And it is Europes specifically, the EUs failure to confront and resolve the crux of the crisis that makes the GBSB Europes latest and potentially most dangerous tinder-box. Full article at: Global Mega Trends

So what are the odds of a complete collapse in Europe and another world war?
Previous WWs fought in Europe have been Christian nation vs. Christian nation. This time it is Islam vs. Christian nation. No complete collapse — the cancer will slowly spread and take over the European continent without the patient realizing what is happening.
I’d look over the sea - rumours are that Israel and Lebanon are gearing up for another confrontation.
As long as the russians stay out of europe and the americas, I don’t care anymore what shenanigans they are up to or who they are oppressing or what cartels they are building. I just don’t care. There are bigger things to worry about now, and I’m tired of watching uncle sam spend my money and turning world politics into a chess match for the purpose of outmaneuvering the russians. I don’t see benefit in doing so anymore.
ping, doubt there is much new here, though history buffs can read up on the Bagration dynasties, one family of Georgian/Armenian/Persian nobles ended up controlling both sides of the Eastern Orthodox vs Persian Muslim empires....
