Good morning! Bet you are glad to see your home yard again with all that beauty.

Got the repaired motherboard from the manufacturer on that computer that I built around Christmas and have been goofing around with it reloading software and such. Runs great. It was Intel's hottest chip on the market when I built it. A core i-7 975 quad chip. They just came out with a hotter one.

Yesterday was the Arapahoe County Republican Assembly, to which I was a delegate! We voted for all Republican county positions for the ballots in November. There were at least 1000 delegates there! People are ,I>extremely energized. One candidate asked how many were there for the first time and I believe half (including myself) raised their hands. Many of the breakfasters were there. Nancy Doty got lots of cheers and was unanimous for re-election.

Good Morning. We had a big day yesterday, with Mr IG’s nephew’s wedding. We drove home afterwards,, arriving home shortly after 11.

Today’s weather is predicted to be 70. I’m looking forward to ditching the campaign stuff and getting outside to garden.

...Republican county positions for the ballots in November.

To clarify in case someone didn't understand......These are the county offices such as county clerk, sheriff, assessor, etc. The candidates for most of the higher positions (Governor, State and U.S H.R. State and U.S. Senate) were there and each got to speak for 3 minutes. Their assemblies are in May.

Good morning!

Yesterday, at an intersection nearby a Canadian goose and I had a standoff, but after a few touchy seconds, we both survived. Wow, that goose had one unnerving glare!

Good morning.

Thanks for the links, Molly.

My uncle had several geese. They were better at protecting the house than his dog.

Don't mess with a goose 'cause you may just get one as you run away. ;-)

So your goose was cooked? Or, no -— you thought your goose was cooked. Er....no-—that’s not it-—You WISH your goose had been cooked?

HA!

There I was in my minivan threatened by a staring goose as time was running out on my green left arrow!

The goose actually moved slightly to the right, and with a slight move left I was able to gain enough room to make the turn in time.

AND luckily, it was early enough in the day so other traffic wasn't a big issue!

Those are azaleas. There are so many varieties and colors. One area of the yard has only white, another mainly pink, there are some fuschias, and a variety of sizes, too. Not all bloom at the same time so azalea season can last a long time. Also, we have an encore variety which will bloom in a week or so, but will bloom again in July and stay in bloom through the middle of September.
