Good morning!
Breaking...A plane crash has killed the Polish President...
On the eve of Apr. 15, Tax Day, folks are making their plans to note the event with more TEA party protests, while at the same time the various organizations are turning their attention to the upcoming primaries and Nov. election. Concern MUST evolve into ballot box victories!
Join us, and have a safe, enjoyable weekend!
Thanks for starting the thread, Molly.
What a terrible loss for the Polish people and Americans!
And the last 4 bodies have been retrieved from that WV coal mine.....
Stupak's final retreat... he'll be remembered as a Judas.
You wonder why these complete and morally corrupt people are willing to follow obama into hell? They have done nothing to improve this country, or their mark on civilization.
I agree with all you said.
I am posting some links r/t Rep Paul Ryan's Roadmap For America's Future. It has detailed plans for addressing the problems of Medicare, Health Care, Social Security, Tax Reform, and Budget Reform.
I urge everybody to check out this site, consider making a contribution if you agree with this bright young man.
I will also include a link to NRCC's Young Guns website.
Roadmap For America's Future Main Page You can watch videos of Paul describe the problems and then click on Roadmap Plan Details. A VERY GOOD WEBSITE!
Finally, I would suggesting sending the Roadmap links to like-minded Americans, family and friends.
..it was hopeful and refreshing to see ALL the young college students who don't have their minds filled with mush (as Rush says)
Thank goodness these young people 'get it'..!!
Polish tragedy is OUR tragedy....God love them, they've been stalwart supporters of the US....
...If you haven't rented Hurt Locker yet, please do.
I know most of us would rather watch some frothy light hearted comedy to take our minds off the real world...(I know I do)
..but this movie is so realistic...the director is a very brave woman...and this movie gives homage to our brave military, who deserve heartfelt thanks!
There are a few words I found objectionable, but I know these are said during the heat of battle.
He's our congressman from Milwaukee. He's a bright, articulate fellow, who has more of a grasp of what's going on in health care than anyone from the administration.
I keep reminding myself there's a reason for anything. Perhaps this will wake up part of America that has been so apathetic for too long.
Good Morning!
Hurt Locker really is a 'must see'..!
It's heartpounding realistic....and even though the main character is a bit of a 'cowboy'...the entire cast is well portrayed.
You really have an intense respect for our military and what they experience on a daily basis...
..yes, these guys were bomb experts specifically, but you also get a sense of what any soldier experiences in this terrorist land of dust, heat and turmoil.
I can see why this won the Oscar....I'm just surprised as heck that they allowed this to win!
I sure hope so.
Paul Ryan represents Walworth and Rock counties. He would probably never had been a congressman if he represented Milwaukee county. I have lived here for over twenty years and it had been a very conservative area. Gradually we are being invaded my Milwaukee from the North and Chicago from the south and sadly it is starting to change :( But I am very happy that people are finally noticing Ryan cause hes been there a while-took over for Mark Neumann who after being in the backround for many years is now running for governor (I prefer Scott Walker).
Thanks for the info on the movie.
Lots of yardwork today, I am blessed to be able to do so. I often think if men or women would get down on their knees and work the land they would have a better understanding of what this life is all about. Our Dear Lord gave us the good earth to work with. I am not talking the silliness of the govt. regulation of environmental nonsense, but being grounded to become a good steward of the land. I know you all know that, as you cultivate your flowers and gardens. We are truly blessed.
Oh sorry-good morning everyone!
Good Morning!
Sorry about Obey. Neumann irritates me cause they tried to get him to run for governor or against one of the senate candidates for years and he wouldn’t. Now that we have a decent candidate(Walker lives in Milwaukee county now but grew up in Walworth)he decides to run and splits the donations that would have all gone to Walker. Grrr. People tried to talk him in to running against Feingold instead but he wouldn’t. I know the rumors that Thompson may run-but to me he is a Rhino. I did hear a few days ago the Leinekugel(of beer fame) might run against Feingold. I don’t know anything about him however.
Leinenkugel has been a democrat most of his life. He now signs on to the Republican ticket? I don't think so... you know he'll vote as a democrat.
This is the best we can do?! Thompson... yeah, another rino.
