McDonnell; Brown; Palin; Santorum; Petraeus- All Telegenic Presidential Candidates But Not...
April 09th 2010

Bob McDonnell; Scott Brown; Sarah Palin; Rick Santorum; Petraeus - All Telegenic Presidential Candidates. OUT: Newt Gingrich; Haley Barbour; Pawlenty. It is critical that the next Republican candidate for president not only be a true conservative but one who can project a telegenic image to sway voters to pull the lever for them. The outcome of the presidential election of 2012 will either result in the signing of this nation's death warrant with an Obama re-election or trail-blaze a path to a miraculous political resurrection. With this being the case we simply cannot have our blinders on regarding the crucial issue of telemetrics no matter how articulate or informed the candidate is. Of course these qualities are essential but in the end "image" matters because it is how a candidate "connects" with the voting masses.

Telegenic is important, but so is Toughness. Sarah Palin has it in spades.

Sarah Palin quit the Governorship of Alaska, before her first term had expired, when it got too hot in the kitchen.

Outside of the Sarah Palin for Sainthood Society, most American voters see her as being a quitter who left her elected office to go chase six-figure speaking fees and become a TV celebrity. In the latest polls, even 56% of Republicans do not want Palin to run for President.

I will admit that Sarah Palin has quite a Fan Club on FR but, outside of her Fan Club, the vast majority of American voter do NOT consider Sarah Palin qualified to be President.

America already took a chance on an unqualified Affirmative Action candidate ("Oh! He has hardly an experience but he's Liberal, he's cute and he's Black!") and is having a massive case of buyer's remorse.

America is NOT going to take a chance on another unqualified Affirmative Action candidate ("Oh! She has hardly an experience but she's Conservative, she's cute and she's female!")

My IQ is twice that of all the Palin cultists combined.

You are doing Sarah Palin a great service on FR.

Your posts confirm the character of her critics of all stripes: delivering gratuitous insults, setting up straw men, presenting vacuous opinions without support, etc. Know her by her enemies.

She is a half governor. A person who resign his first term of governor is not ready to be a dog catcher in the smallest town in America let alone be a President.

Would the president of the United States be taking time to spar, and lose badly every time, if she was still pinned down in Alaska, bankrupting herself responding to bogus ethics complaints? You really can't see the argument that the people of Alaska are better off it their governor isn't a pinned down target for the entire national left wing smear establishment? Seriously?

Whether she 's presidential material at the moment is debatable. But given the political brilliance she's demonstrated lately, your venom makes you look every bit the bitter, clueless moron that her leftist detractors so clearly are.

Obama wants her as his opponent because he is guaranteed a total victory in 2012.

I think you give the guy too much credit. Three years is an ETERNITY in politics.

What are you doing bringing facts again to the Palin cultists? It will never get into their thick heads that resigning her governorship post 2.5 years in her first term means that she can never be elected President. But yet her cultists come up with one silly excuse after another to justify her resignation. Can you imagine what type of a joke if she uses these excuse in a Presidential campaign? It will further show that she is not ready at all to be President.

So Governor Palin, looking at the Big Picture and sensing she could accomplish more for the general good, did what any intelligent, sensible, caring, conservative, and fighting Man/Woman would do; shifted gears and defeated the Democrats at the crappy game that they were playing.

Great!

So, Sarah Palin is now exactly where she belongs.

Right along side Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity as a very well paid TV personality.

Please spare us another unqualified Affirmative Action President of the United States without any meaningful experience besides being "cute" and being "not white" or "not male".

I am not your only problem here. The majority of voters will not care about this stupid excuse that you mentioned above. In fact this stupid excuse will further prove to them that she is not qualified to be President because if she cannot take the heat from the left while governor how the hell she is going to take from them when she is President and when the heat is a million time more.

If Palin were to win the nomination, would you support her over Obama in 2012?

I like a lot of our potential candidates-Pence, Ryan, Daniels, Palin, Cantor, to name a few. Must they be mutually exclusive?

My IQ is twice that of all the Palin cultists combined.

You do realize how incredibly stupid beyond words someone would have to be to write that line, don't you? Only extremely foolish and clueless people ever brag about their purported intelligence. You have to be really, really stupid to not understand how dumb and asinine it makes you look to anybody and everybody. Doing things to make yourself a social leper isn't a sign of intelligence, wisdom, or anything else desirable or admirable.

People unfortunate enough to know you personally know the sad truth. You're just too obtuse and stunted to see it.

A White MaleRepublican Presidential candidate cannot defeat Obama in 2012 according to some Palin cultists. According to them Obama can only be defeated by another unqualified affirmative action person such as Palin.

Yes I will support for her because she would be better than Obama, there is no doubt about it. But if she is the nominee we are going to lose big in the general elections.

Forget Petraeus. He is a self-described “Rockefeller Republican” who recently blamed Israel for putting the safety of our troops at risk, then backtracked when outrage ensued. Not a conservative. Not as steady a hand as once thought. Forget him.

As usual, PDS Sufferers, as well as, the MSM ignore the part of the message that doesn't fit their template of Governor Palin not qualified, Governor Palin is a quitter.

You're in good company my friend!

Rick Perry gave a fantastic speech Friday. What do you think of Perry-Palin? Is there still little love for Perry on FR?

Just wondering if y'all think it is okay to "like" Sarah Palin and admire her but not be considered a cultist? Why the harsh and angry rhetoric?

Forgive me for butting in here. But it would appear it is all they have left. They have been extremely unsuccessful in getting others to join them in thier insane positions.

Not all Sarah Palin fans are cultists, not a majority of them, not even a large minority of them. However on FR there is an unusually high number of Palin cultists, a higher percentage that the general population of Palin fans.

That'ws why she can draw upwards of ten thousand people out ot the middle of the desert to hear her speak.

Try again.

another unqualified affirmative action...

You have noticed that the "Palin is stupid" thing has been dropped by just about anybody, left or right, that wishes to maintain a shred of credibility, haven't you? She beats the living crap out of the president of the United States every time she bothers to do so. She has been a very effective voice in blunting his push to wreck the place. She's always one step ahead of her critics. You haven't noticed that? Really? Somebody so incredibly smart like you? Are you kidding? With that massive, all knowing brain of yours? Unbelievable!

The leader of the free world cowering in the corner, being forced to respond, and doing it very poorly, after the recent smack down on unilateral nuclear disarmament. You might have noticed if you weren't so busy telling yourself and others how smart you were.
