The news "out there" appears to be increasingly "bad" in many ways.
There is much "good news" also - but it's hard to see among all the "bad" headlines and stories.
This song is a Healing Song - for all who are worried, sad, depressed, anxious, afraid, hurting, broken, sick, sorrowing, confused, burdened down by cares of our lives and the lives of others and the life of our nation and the world!
Please listen to all the words - and let this song soak into us deeply...and we "soak" in that River Kim Hopper sings about.
The River is there for ALL of us.

I start every day by saying, “Is God still good today?” “Do I still love my family and friends today?” “Is Frank still perfect today?”
The answer is yes to all three, and nothing else is important.

I think it's more important that I love my family and friends than that they love me (although they do, at least today), because the only thing that can separate me from the Lord would be being a person who doesn't love.

We dive in when we read AND believe His Word! When we understand that Jesus really does love us deeply and everything is going to be all right - in Him.
Everything in our lives, in our nation, and in the world.
He is taking care of us, of all that concerns us, and of this nation, and of the world!!!

Yes, indeed.
And we are like that sweet and precious little child who trusts that his mama and daddy are taking care of him and he just goes ahead and does what he does. No worries.
We are to truly live like that - child like - not childish.
I have found, the longer I have lived, that every person I have ever met who lives close to God, is like that. They have a child-like faith in their Heavenly Father that is so beautiful, so meek, so gloriously unworried and unanxious.
I met Shirley Ceasar Tuesday night. She is the best Black Gospel singer in the world, and pastors her own church. She is, no doubt, a multimillionaire from all her albums. She has won countless Grammy awards and other awards.
Yet she is the most humble, sweet, delightful person you would ever want to meet. She also still looks as young as someone in their twenties!!!
We hugged. She invited me to her church. We were just siters in the Lord and it was just a joy to meet her.
Not to mention hearing her sing - for free!!!!!
Anyway - that is what God intends for us all if we will just “jump in” to the River of His love and become like a child trusting Him for everything.
We are told to “cast all our cares on Him for He cares for us”.
Jesus is able to handle all our cares, our worries, our fears, and ALL that is happening in this world today.
He is the First and the Last. The Alpha and the Omega. And He is the CREATOR of the Universe as well as being our Savior, our Redeemer, our Friend, and our Lord!
And our soon coming KING of KINGS and LORD OF LORDS!
Hallelujah. What a joy it all is!
Yes of course. There is a righteous anger such as Jesus displayed in the temple with the moneychangers.
But we cannot allow our righteous anger to rule us.
We truly are not to go to bed angry.
Lay it all at the feet of Jesus - each night - it will be there to take back up tomorrow as needed.

Yes indeed - all the children are perfect!!! ANd, here is the thing - We are children in God’s eyes! We are perfect before him too!
Yes we sin, we get lost, we get confused, we hurt others and we are hurt by others, we suffer, we grieve, we are broken, we struggle, we worry, we get motivated and do some incredible things that benefit others and ourselves...but in essence, we are all God’s children and He loves us so!!! Much more than we love our own earthly children.
Which is why, I believe, He is pulling out all the stops to see to it that as many as possible come into His Kingdom, His “Ark” that is being prepared for the coming day of destruction just as Noah and his ark were prepared for his day of destruction that came and swept everyone away except for Noah, his family, and the animals he had with him.
Yes, evil is on the rise.
Yes, the world is fast moving towards its “conclusive” chapters of history.
Yes, our own nation is in the midst of a spiritual battle the skirmishes of this battle being evident every day here on FR in our headlines.
But we know we belong to God. When we are “right with God” = (have received His Son Jesus as our Savior) = we know that we are totally and completely forgiven for everything and that we will live eternally with God! And so will our beloveds as we ask Jesus to bring them into His kingdom too.
(And, of course, all children are literally in His Kingdom now - we see this in their faces and in their eyes and in their sweetness).

Thanks for the kind words. There are more normal Americans out there than you’d think if you watch the MSM ... people like my parents, families with job and neighborhoods, loan me a weedeater, here’s a lasagne. Our enemies don’t want us to remember that.
Excellent posts. God calls us to trust only in Him, and everything difficult in the world is just a reminder that God will never let us down ... if we want Him, He’s there.
