I don’t think they would’ve cared what he sang....it was strictly PR move - they didn’t want the “headlines” that he wasn’t SAVED

Mike is certainly a good singer and better than a lot of those guys. He’s a tad full of himself but even he doesn’t go on about his baby — the producers rammed the baby into our face.
I think it’s OK that they used the save on him. But it means that even Chrystal can suddenly go home.
One of my sons who is perversely voting for TUrban each week like crazy (a la Vote for the Worst) thought this was a strategy destined to wipe TUrban off the show. He could be right.
