Casey doesn’t know much about tempo which would have helped him with his presentation. It just takes tapping the foot to hold on to a tempo. Without tempo, no song sounds good. They drag. Man, maybe next year, the judges will pick out some major talent.
I agree. I think he is very tired of Kara as well. She is so obnoxious.

Maybe I’m getting jaded, but it seems weird that the top 3 this year seem so technically unpolished. This can’t all be nerves, can it?

Randy: The first song you did tonight, I wasn't in favor of that. But this song fits you like a glove. Continue in this direction.
Ellen: Really good. I liked that a lot.
Kara: This showed the more artistic side of you. You did a good job and didn't stray too far from the original.
Simon: Much, much better song choice than the first one. A bit of a lazy arrangement. Limp guitar solo. (Kara interrupts him--how dare he criticize her song pick?? When she finally shuts up, Simon continues speaking to Casey) You sounded very very good. But that song didn't have the wow factor.
I dont think it is all nerves...I think it is mostly because the Judges didnt pick very talented people in the beginning!!! This year has truly been a snooze fest......but at this juncture...I am in Lees corner....

This is such a snoozer. I have never cared less who won. I like Lee. But I’m so NOT impressed with any of them. I’d rather laugh about the comments than watch the show. Geez!

Idol is shortening/changing the show cuz people have been complaining about all of Seacrests’s painful stretching and all Kara’s discoveries performing and they all stunk too. Next year will be considerably shorter.
