It’s the first performance of hers that I thought was awful.

And I can’t help it, when someone tears up in front of me, I tear up too. I don’t even have to know why they are crying. LOL
It kinda went downhill after the acapella bit. Bad for her is still a few yards ahead of most of the others, though.

Alicia Keyes is so pretty.
She sings for the first time without an instrument. Her song is "People Get Ready" She starts off singing alone, then she is joined by three female backup singers and a small string orchestra. But all the power is in Bowersox's voice.
Then she breaks into tears at the last note. 
I'm not buying it. There's a tight close-up on her face. There are no real tears.
