Man with half a body 'fathered child'

A man with only half a body is waiting on test results to find out if he is a father.

In a new documentary, Kenny Easterday, 35, claims to have conceived a child with his fiancée Nicky.

The couple, from West Virginia, were together seven years ago when Nicky gave birth to her daughter Desiree.

They have undergone DNA testing to find out if Desiree, one of Nicky's two children, is Mr Easterday's daughter.

Speaking in The Learning Channel (TLC) documentary, Nicky, 33, said they enjoyed a normal sex life.

"People want to know if Kenny has his private parts."

"We have sex just like any other couple. Kenny has his parts like any other man."

Mr Easterday was born with a rare condition called sacral agenesis which stopped his spine from developing normally.

Doctors amputated his two legs and used part of his shinbone to form the end of his spine.

Mr Easterday, who walks on his hands, said his greatest dream was to be a dad.

"I want a child to carry my name, someone that can carry my legacy and be able to say 'Well that's my daddy'," he said.

How could a double leg amputee father a child? That's a one in a billion chance!

Why? He has all the working parts to father a child, just no legs.

To which Mrs. Easterday replied, “That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!”

"I want a child to carry my name, ...," he said.

I think he said, "I want someone to carry me."

Kenny Easterday learnt to walk on his hands at an early age.

An x-ray of a young Mr Easterday before his legs were amputated.

Suddenly
I'm not half the man I used to be
There's a shadow hanging over me
Oh, Easterday came suddenly

Now that this wonderful couple has accomplished all of this, they could perform another miracle and get married. White trash.

His girlfriend said, “He may not be the best lover, but he has a cute way of getting on and off!”

Farmers once wanted large families to have field helpers, and yes, kindergartners were put to work. In this case, the gentleman will have to wait a few more years for his dream to come true.

I don't get these women. There was never a question whether our children belonged to my husband and me.

Then again, my mother was a lady, and expected her daughters to be ladies. I'm raising my daughter to be a lady; guess I'll have to find a husband for her on FR - where folks are raising their boys to want ladies, not skanks.

Last I checked, legs were optional equipment in baby-making.

The bad news is he only has half a body.
The good news is he’s got the good half.

I think this is a tremendously inspirational story.
And his name is Easterday? How perfect is that?
