My daughter and I are looking at this post together and we came up with the same question! I understand benign vs. malignant in cases of a tumor, but don’t know if I can apply those definitions directly???
In discussion with my daughter I think I came to the conclusion that this may indicate small, insulated LOCAL capitalist economies, but nothing that can take root and expand into a worldwide capitalist economy???
I probably should’ve kept reading before answering - maybe someone has a better explanation! :)
