Sarah Palins Real American Stories special premiering tomorrow night is continuing to draw controversy today (also, we got a sneak peek of the show).
First it was LL Cool J, and now representatives for Toby Keith are speaking out about their surprise regarding the country stars inclusion in the show.
According to HitFix:
Keith, who says hes a registered Democrat, was not told about the usage of a past interview for Palins program. We were never contacted by Fox, his rep tells Hitfix.I have no idea what interview its taken from.Theyre promoting this like its a brand new interview. He never sat down with Sarah Palin."
Well we knew he wasnt interviewed by Palin, but he is a significant part of the special and more so than LL Cool J (and Jack Welch). His story is narrated by Palin.
But Fox tells us they did contact several members of Keiths team to make them aware that he would be part of the program, including Elaine Schock, his publicist, who spoke with a Fox News producer, and the USO, where his manager is on the board. An insider tells us Welch wasnt contacted either and as far as we know, is happy with his part in the show.

Keith didn’t bother me until he did “I want to talk about me”, a very effeminate song that no real man would want to be associated with. Is he gay?
I agree that this Palin Special puts her on the Barbara Walters track rather than the serious political leadership track. Let’s watch the show before reaching final conclusions.
LL Cool J, I’m done watching you on NCIS. How do you like that. Your nobody.
“IMO this was a setup from the start probably McAmnasty has his lettice hands involved in this. McAmnasty is using her and when he looses to JD, he will unleash the wife and the fat daughter on her like never before...
Pray for Sarah and her family.”
I don’t know much about this Fox mess, but as far as the rest of your statement, you very well could be right. McCain plays dirty politics, as dirty as they get. Who knows who he and his henchmen have bribed, threatened or pressured.
He’s even happy to turn on Ronald Reagan to get what he wants.
He actually said this just a few days ago:
President Reagan granted amnesty to two million people and that was wrong, McCain said.

People may be ‘supporting’ McCain, but I’d bet none of them ‘like’ him.
I dont think Palin wants to be in office again..not unless she is handed it on a platter. And I think she is right ,she can do a lot more right where she is
No need for a real American like Sarah to suck up to celeb Dems, they will just spit on her in return.
As these two guys did here, publicly to embarrass her.
This is war.
Please correct me, thanks.
You were never a fan nor friend. But that’s ok.
Did Keith and Hannity sing The Devil Down in Georgia or some such song......together?
I guess that everything is an insult to someone with your agenda.
I’ll take my life over your fears any day.
Toby Keith—patriotism hustler?
(Sorta like a race hustler only someone who trades on a few patriotic minutes and then “hustles” off to do some blow with his pals in the 90210?)
This was no set up. Keith was interviewed in 2009 SPECIFICALLY for a show to be called “Real American Stories,” the name of Palin’s show. At the time he was interviewed Fox had not yet decided who would host so the only surprise to Keith would be who was hosting. This is all irrelevant. The last I heard Keith is fine with it and only responded that he didn’t know Palin was the host when asked. He never asked to have his segment pulled nor did he express any negativity re: Palin only to say that he had never met her. This is another lame attempt by the MSM to smear Palin.
Bingo. I think this is a “get Palin” bunch at Fox News, who have such brain-addling PDS that do not care that they are sabotaging their own bottom line.
OK thanks
What agenda is that, sparky?
Apparently, the agenda of pretending to be “pro-Palin, but disturbed by so many problems.”
What else would explain your surly response to simple explanatory replies, no matter what the content? You are working from talking points; the same talking points that a few others here are also working from.
I will leave you to suffer your delusions alone.
Pro Palin is not like you. You are having a slobbering love affair. Carry on.

“ I think this is a get Palin bunch at Fox News, who have such brain-addling PDS that do not care that they are sabotaging their own bottom line.”
.
Could be true, but as with all forms of Palin-Attack, it isn’t going to work. Any face time that she gets where she is the narrator, she will be victorious, because she is the genuine thing, and it stands out to all that see her.
To take a swipe at her requires that she either not be present, or that massive editing be done before it is viewed by the public. (The Couric solution)

I knew that I was right!
