Whatever. I spent the entire day Saturday on Capitol Hill. I returned home sunburned, hoarse, and with a splitting headache.

No, my presence and that of the other 50,000+ patriots, did not prevent the bill from passing. But at least I can take solace in that I did what I could.

Alternatively, we could have all just sat home on our asses, watched the bill pass anyway, and then wonder if a protest on the Capitol steps might not have made a difference.

You won’t convince me my time was wasted.
