Good morning! My husband has been home from Ghana but will leave on Monday to go back. He is taking Lufthansa to avoid the British Airlines strike.
I have 2 new computers, a new desktop and laptop. I am still getting used to them but they are way faster.
We will be getting Iowa Granny’s weather tonight. Fortunately, I haven’t really done anything in the garden yet.
The dog continues to improve her behavior. Grandchildren are doing great. Grandson is now taller than me! Yikes! Older granddaughter is at Space Camp in Alabama this weekend.
I am watching the mess in DC and will NEVER be reconciled to Obamacare or his plan for destroying our country. I don’t care if the dog and I have to hide out in the back woods and form an old people’s resistance. I will NOT give up the idea of America!

The appetizers from last night? They were good, umless one is trying to diet.
Plenty of hot queso, which I have trouble resisting.
We went across the border this morning to stock up on drugs. (pharmaceuticals, LOL!)
Plenty of Federales armed with machine guns hanging around the entry area. You didn’t use to see that. Not good, for sure. The one little border town that’s popular with the Winter Texans, its probably just a matter of time until the cartels turn it into crap and scare everybody away.
Anyway we are home now and having quite a weather system blow down from the north. The temp has turned chillier and there’s been rain. A good day for a nap and to try to ignore the communist takeover of America.
Bev, they (Demonrats) don’t know they are doing something good for us — they are well aware that what they are doing is wrong and is going to absolutely ruin the health care/medical care in this nation.
The only thing the Demonrats/President care about is bringing this nation to its knees with socialism! AND they having a really good run at it!

We just got in from working on the chicken coop. We are making it larger.
Plus, I have been gathering up stuff in the yard and garage to discard. Where does all the it come from?? Sheesh!

BTW, you watch Nancy Pelosi and you see the Dark Side of America. All that was fought for, all that was defended, is all for naught. You see the Federal Gubbimint just running roughshod over everything and you have to ask: When the Constitution was signed, there were protections in place that covered state sovereignty. The question now is: Does the Federal Gov’t. now understand the limits of its power, and do the states realize the danger set forth by this bill?????
