We went across the border this morning to stock up on drugs. (pharmaceuticals, LOL!)
Plenty of Federales armed with machine guns hanging around the entry area. You didn’t use to see that. Not good, for sure. The one little border town that’s popular with the Winter Texans, its probably just a matter of time until the cartels turn it into crap and scare everybody away.
Anyway we are home now and having quite a weather system blow down from the north. The temp has turned chillier and there’s been rain. A good day for a nap and to try to ignore the communist takeover of America.
Just reading your post from yesterday when you were describing the border town farmacia. We used to always go to Algodones, just across the border from Yuma and it was so plesant. Haven’t been there since Larry died in ‘03 and wonder if anyone knows conditions there now?
