I’ve never conceived of such arcane parliamentary crap such as this.
OK, we turn them all out next election.
Congress sets up its procedures in a form so complicated that it is hard for most citizens to follow. It’s the same thing with the tax code. All of it is designed to keep the ruling elite “in the know” and us out of the loop.
If it’s such a wonderful healthcare bill which will solve all of our problems, why aren’t they standing and voting proudly for it? That tells us everything we need to know about this bill.
This goes beyond anything I’ve seen in politics, ever! It makes me mad as hell that without a vote they are going to make us pay for everyone who won’t work!
Exactly! It smells bad and they know it! Pelosi is trying to protect all the balless democrats so they will go alone with it! The hatred is about to run amok!
Nancy, you’re delusional if you think that doing nothing to stop it won’t be viewed as the same as voting FOR it.
The only way Americans will view your lackeys as blameless is if they actually do something to stop it. That would be voting AGAINST it or killing it for good in some other way.
They do, in fact, have a vote. It’s the vote they don’t use to stand up against this coverup scheme (shell legislation) to avoid responsibility. There is no way elected representatives can hide from their responsibilities in a representative form of government. This is a sham.
