You should consider traveling on Amtrak instead.
They just started offering free Wi-Fi on their Acela Express routes.

Dang — for months I tethered and paid for my own Internet access.

But I was able to bring my own beer on board so it was kinda cool that way. And in Business Class you got a bottle of water and cheese and crackers...

I’d travel on Amtrak more often if it had a decent schedule. Around here, if you want to go to DC by train, you have a choice of exactly one direct train. But at least you don’t have to go through the hassle of air travel. It’s a shame — flying used to be fun. Not anymore.
