CLEVELAND -- Jake Delhomme has a new NFL home, and the Cleveland Browns have another new quarterback.

Delhomme, released last week by the Carolina Panthers, has agreed to terms on a two-year deal with the Browns, whose quarterback position has been nothing short of a merry-go-round of players since the club returned as an expansion team 11 years ago.

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter first reported the deal, and a source told Schefter that Delhomme is scheduled to make $7 million this season, including just under $900,000 in base salary. With $12.7 million from Carolina, Delhomme will make $19.7 million in 2010.

I guess you're right. Does that mean the Browns are the NFL equivalent to the Chicago Cubs?

Wow Quinn and Anderson both gone and they pick up Jake Delhomme, me thinks they are gonna pick a QB in the draft!

"This move makes no sense at all - too early to give up on Quinn."

He can't throw the "out" pattern consistently. Not sure if it is mechanics or arm strength but he has serious trouble with it. His short game is dead on but in the AFC North you gotta throw the "out" lots and lots.

Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow, Colt McCoy, Tony Pike, Zac Robinson, Jimmy Clausen, the kid from West Virginia - there’s some arms out there.

I can't wait for draft day!

A new QB maybe and 1 more quality O.Line and some defensive backfield is my hopes. And hopefully a nice stong Def lineman in free agency.
