Police surprised by teacher-student sex confession

LOS ANGELES — In his 28 years with the Burbank Police Department, Sgt. Robert Quesada had never heard of anything quite like it: A well-respected teacher at one of the city's public schools walks into police headquarters and confesses to having an affair with a 14-year-old boy. With her attorney by her side, police say, Amy Victoria Beck told detectives the relationship with one of her former students began in March 2009 and continued until last December. She said it left her wracked with guilt.

"I can't tell you that I remember anything like that ever happening before," Quesada said of someone confessing to a crime when police had no idea a crime had even been committed....

I’m sorry to be the voice of reason here, but this is not okay. All the joking going on because this predator is semi attractive is just gross. If she was a creepy guy doing this to a 14 year old girl, you wouldn’t be so light. A family, a husband, and three innocent children are being deeply wounded by this. I know it’s every guy’s fantasy to have some hot teacher take them under their wing, but it really distorts one’s perception on women, sex and love for their entire life. I’m glad she has remorse, but that should not release her from the consequence of her actions.
I’m sorry to be a nag, but I know someone who was molested by a young hot teacher when he was a kid and it’s not the dream situation you guys all think it is. I’m just sayin’
