Remained a virgin for 21 years? The wife probably chanted to him everytime: “honey, it’s not you....it’s me”.
Or she had a headache every day. On their first night of their honeymoon, she had a huge migraine.

While on remand he said his wife’s inability to have children lay at the heart of the couple’s domestic difficulties. It wasn't her *inability* to have children, it was her refusal to have them, and sex.
If she didn't want sex, she shouldn't have gotten married. Let the poor guy have a life with some other woman.

He could have had this marriage annulled, any sane man would have done so after the first several weeks of not getting any. Non consummation of a marriage is grounds for annulment in just about any country.
