Why was a founding member of the FreeRepublic LLC 501(c) board banned by a modmin/admin who is no more than a volunteer sitting at home on a ego trip?

How many thousands of archive pages were just fractured due to this foolishness?

Not only should a full explanation be given to the public, the admin who approved this measure needs to be publicly named, and publicly defend the position.

THis is the most abject failure of the modmin system that John Robinson devised in the history of FR since the rebuild in 1999.

If the admin powered individual was anyone other than current or former formal members of the LLC, the admin must be removed from the admin level and any admins who want to defend that admin should also make themselves publicly known and defend their position.

This banning is an indictment on the failure of the admins of this website. That is putting it politely.

Maybe you didn't get your pizza because putting up with a Barney Frank level body cavity search just isn't worth $8 an hour plus tips.

It sounds good, though mega-cal. Not really pie though.
Could you make a Frito pie crust, then add the chili, and bake it?

I’ll look for it. One more thing, does the chili in TX have kidney beans in it?

Why? (I ask kindly).
My mother always put kidney beans in the chili. As a child I didn't like them. Then one day when I was a young adult I was at her place and she had chile made, no kidney beans. Surprisingly I found that I missed them.
And since TX cuisine appears to be influenced by that of Mexico I assume that beans, kidney or not, are present in a lot of dishes. So, again I assume that the chili in TX has beans in it.

We must also consider RINOs to be weak on Republican values. Still, that doesn't mean they can't share many of our social values. The very first RINOs were, in fact, members of the Whig party who ran as Republicans!

You could argue that Abe Lincoln was, himself, a RINO. Check out many of his earlier speeches if you want to examine that thought.

The countryclubbers are still, for the most part, just the guys who run the party. For the most part they never expect to run for office. In the Democrat party, the people who run the party constitute the group who also work their way through the chairs to get an opportunity to become a candidate.

That, BTW, is an incredibly important difference between the Republicans and Democrats.

The Republicans have operatives who serve tirelessly through the years just to protect America's freedoms. The Democrats have operatives who work equally tirelessly to get a higher paying government job that will enable them to give lucrative contracts to their friends.

It's the difference between self-made men of wealth and those who steal for a living.

Just listen to the way the Democrats justify theft ~ they argue that the Republicans are the same as them ~ and yet we know the Republican countryclubbers aren't. They make their money on the outside of politics, and help to get Republicans elected so the Democrats can't steal it.

Look at who the Democrats sought first to destroy ~ CAR DEALERS with Republican connections.

They know even if some Republicans don't.

There was a "Tuco" in "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" and I think he was the "ugly" one.

You are correct, Tuco (played by Eli Wallach) was "the ugly." Of course, Clint Eastwood as Blondie was "the good" while Lee Van Cleef as Angel Eyes was "the bad." I really enjoy this movie but my wife absolutely hates it. No point in even mentioning it on movie night since my wife will immediately veto it.
