Why was a founding member of the FreeRepublic LLC 501(c) board banned by a modmin/admin who is no more than a volunteer sitting at home on a ego trip?
How many thousands of archive pages were just fractured due to this foolishness?
Not only should a full explanation be given to the public, the admin who approved this measure needs to be publicly named, and publicly defend the position.
THis is the most abject failure of the modmin system that John Robinson devised in the history of FR since the rebuild in 1999.
If the admin powered individual was anyone other than current or former formal members of the LLC, the admin must be removed from the admin level and any admins who want to defend that admin should also make themselves publicly known and defend their position.
This banning is an indictment on the failure of the admins of this website. That is putting it politely.

Pizza Delivery! Recommended by working stiffs across the nation.
We health care nuts are not always a pain. If you eat pizza with a salad it has all the main food groups.
On our units, we always let everyone know when the pizza is delivered by announcing over the loud speaker that 'The Eagle Has Landed'.

This is a great thread. I save them and put them in a folder called “Insomnia”, and at 3 in the morning I haul them out and read them while drinking hot cocoa.
I have to make sure I have napkins because if they’re really good, I get cocoa all over the keyboard.

I have to make sure I have napkins because if theyre really good, I get cocoa all over the keyboard. You'll probably want a roll of very absorbent paper towel for this one.

Potato chips have more oil than Fritoes. Cheetos have even more that potato chips.

What floor are the moderator offices on? Top floor. Where else?
But please don't mention it to the Boss. It took a long time to convince him that the newest architectural trend places the Penthouse Suite on Ground Floor.

I love Frito Pie because the chili is already pretty hearty and then the Fritos add some salt and grease. Sometimes, when I am feeling wild, I'll add some crumbled chedder cheese.

I just snarfed four Reese's mini-cups wrapped in pastel colors for the Easter season. That was a mere tease and barely worth it, but I had to eat 'em before humblegunner grabbed them. Mighty brave talking about chocolate when there's none left. Remember we're still waiting on the pizza.

Mighty brave talking about chocolate when there's none left. Humblegunner's got a chocolate stash in one of those strange cannisters on his dining room floor. Don't tell anyone else, though.

If the driver has to watch the stupid safety video and sign the stupid forms the pizza and wings will be cold. Y'all need to lighten up. I'm just sayin'...Forms? Safety video? That's old school stuff. Our high tech security is the best of the best.

Ash? Boy, there's a blast from the past. As distruptive as he (or she) was, the posting wars were always entertaining. On slow days, I wish Ash would come back.
Have you forgotten to poster tuco-bad?
