VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. -- A home in Volusia County is sparking outrage Friday. A homeowner has strung up women's underwear and built mountains of sand in the back and neighbors are desperate for help.
The house is located near Daytona Beach Shores on Venetian Way (see map). It turns out the homeowner has done it before in other states.
The owner is a minor celebrity of sorts in other cities. The homeowner, Robert Hodges, calls himself Prince Mongo. His home has womens underwear hanging outside on a clothesline.
On his website, Hodges claims to be from the planet Zambodia and is 333 years old. Hodges says he is here to save the world, but he's ruining his neighbors world.
"I am really, really angered by it at this point," neighbor Pam Lucas. Hodgess neighbors said they really dont want to draw more attention to him for fear of what he'll do next.
Hodges didn't have a permit for his deck last year and Volusia County found out. That's when the Prince Mongo began painting his home bright colors, including witch illustrations directed toward a neighbor.

The ultimate in passive aggression!
Prince Mongo
That’d be a shame if it burned down....
TTIUWP
I bet he’s from the planet Irritatia 10.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Now that’s funny! As they said, the panties and the house paint isn’t against the law so power to him. As for his spaceship, might I suggest the first passenger pickup be in D.C..
That’s a $300,000. home?! It looks like a large trailer! LOL!
People should be more tolerant of the very elderly.
Gives a new meaning to the term “underwire”.
You know what they say about fences making good neighbors...
Sounds like the ultimate trust fund kid fairly screaming for attention. These things tend to be self-limiting. We had a neighbor like this guy when I was a kid. The man used to stroll around the property on summer evenings wearing nothing but his tighty-whities, garter socks, and wingtip shoes, while sipping his scotch and soda. One night he ate the gun after finishing his last scotch and soda on the patio. Problem solved.
I know this neighborhood. The neighborhood is a bunch of very respectable 50 yo homes, many on the waterfront. Home values range from 200K to 600K. That guy is dragging everyone else down. To hell with him.
I would have printed up hundreds of flyers with this guy's address advertising a big party offering free beer, entertainment and girls then distributed them at the Dayton Beach Bike Week............
Hahahahahahah!
Prince Mongo was a Memphian icon ever since I can remember.
Noticed that he didn’t run in the last Mayoral race, but I didn’t know that he had left town.
Is he by chance a dimocrat?
Who knows. For sure Prince is a nutcase.
