(2010-03-04) — In an effort to break through bipartisan opposition and public discontent with his latest health insurance reform proposal, President Barack Obama today called on the Senate to “take a final, straight up-or-down vote on the U.S. Constitution.”

This would be funny, except I think the administration and congress alread took a vote on the Constitution, and the vote was "NO".

I think this is a whole lot closer to the Obama-Democrat goals that most will admit. Think Venezuela.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. This is so close to the truth that it’s scary. If the authors of the Constitution could see what we’ve become, they would be rolling over in their graves.
