Wow. Thanks for the post. Just think, some school districts are replacing History classes for “Current Events”. What’s the old saying, “Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it”?

Man, these Sunday editions are astounding.
Of particular interest to me were the reviews of “7 years of FDR” on pages 15 - 18.

The Soviet troops on the Vuoksi throw almost three divisions into an offensive across a broad front in the Vuosalmi and Kaskiselkä sectors. The defending Finnish troops successfully halt the offensive with the support of artillery fire.

What cost $884 in 1940 would cost $13377.15 in 2009

Add in air conditioning, power brakes and steering, airbags, catalytic converter, etc, and the price of cars really hasn’t changed much.
