ESPN has suspended TV commentator Tony Kornheiser for remarks about fellow ESPN personality Hannah Storm, according to multiple reports Tuesday.

Kornheiser, the popular host of the show "Pardon the Interruption," is known for making sports figures the subject of his humorous criticism, but in a recent show he aimed his commentary at Storm's wardrobe.

And that is why I love Tony. He was absolutely right about her outfit, but he also is great at apologizing.

None of that “if I offended” crap. “I’m a troll”. Priceless.

He comments on all sorts of things. It’s just that most of them don’t get him suspended, so you won’t hear about it.

The entire show is irreverant, but he crossed the line because they were told not to go after personalities.

Hannah is the only reason I watch ESPN.

He does say a lot of stupid things. I didn’t think he could know less about anything than he does about sports until I heard him talk about politics.

Geeze, imagine what would happen to him if he had said that the prez was a “clean black man” (Biden) or “a light-skinned negro who only speaks black occasionally” (Reid)...
now that would be REAL BAD, right, ESPN?

Perhaps he shouldn’t have said it exactly as he said it, but I tend to agree with you.

It isn’t that Hannah is an unattractive woman, or that there is anything wrong with the clothes per se. It’s just that that particular type of clothing seems totally wrong for her build.

If sexiness is her aim, she would come closer to achieving it with clothes that are more suitable to her body type. Those clothes make her appear to be trying to be something she isn’t, and missing the mark.

While I agree that skirts that short aren’t becoming after a certain age, it’s more that the outfit isn’t becoming on her regardless of her age, imo.

I’m not sure Tony thought that much about it. On first glance, the outfit looks hilarious, and I think he just went with it.

I always thought that Hannah Storm’s “chris berman nickname” should have been Hannah “Thunder” Storm. BTW I think she’ll married to that weisel Jim Gray.

Actually I love 40’ish women who wear short skirts (if its a good look).

Kornheiser is a liberal puke from the Washington Post, and he’s never been funny and has never been right about anything.

why didn’t they suspend Wilbon when he was slandering Limbaugh, repeating the make-believe quotes. When called on it he laughed and said “Yeah I know he never said those things, but I don’t like the guy so it’s OK to do it”.

PTI would be better if both hosts didn’t slavishly bow to PC all the time. Reali, Cowlishaw, Blackistone, et al, from ATH are more entertaining and informative.
