On one hand, I can agree with these types of accusations/assertions in a generic sense.

On the other hand, they almost sound like a leftist planted story to make the opposition (us) look like kookburgers. If you say [paraphrasing] “what would 0bama be doing differently if it were true..”...undeniably it is true that constant near-absurd attempts to ridicule contrary viewpoints are always in place.

Unfortunately, we are held to a much higher standard. The left has infinite license to make and repeat completely ludicrous assertions as to racism, war-for-oil, crony capitalism, and a dozen others. Without question, much of the idea behind the effort is to exasperate us, and without question, it is more than marginally effective. There are only so many marches on Washington and only so many hundreds of thousands of protest letters, FAXes, and emails that can be sent.

Let’s hope that come November we will still retain the right to vote.
