Not a big hockey fan, nor am I a big Canada basher, but any Sunday evening that we bring it home to Mom and apple pie, by God, it's a good Sunday evening! Great job, fellas!

How long before the Vancouver Canucks trade Kesler? Ha! That was one of the best hockey games in history. Period!

On the other thread I posted that they really beat the puck out of each other. That was some of the best hockey I have ever seen.

Post game reporter just summed it up perfectly. "They are crying in their Canadian beer tonight."

Hockey is not on tonight’s NBC schedule.

I’m guessing that’s Jarkko Ruutu, not Tuomo. Not that I’d put that past Tuomo, but it looks like a Canucks jersey he’s wearing.
To: Falcon28
It was a great game!
Now that’s why I love hockey! WOW!

He got cocky. He was way too aggressive out of the crease, and he really paid for that dive he took after Pronger pushed Backes into him.
Canada might go with Luongo in the medal round, but I think that’d be a mistake. Brodeur had a brain fart today, but he’s an ice-man normally - nothing fazes him.

I’m old enough to have watched the Lake Placid games and the Packer vs Dallas Ice Bowl

Heh, Kesler was really whooping it up in front of his home crowd. I loved it!

Miller - 42 saves -— 3 goals allowed
Brodeur - 18 saves -— 5 goals allowed
I think that says it all! Goaltending won the day!
