Looks like USA plays Switzerland tomorrow.

They just beat Belarus in a shootout.

I tuned in just before the shoot out..I heard some commentator say a couple of days ago that the Swiss are tough.

Too bad they didn’t have a gun. I’d love to know what that shot clocked at. Not only was it so fast it went through the net, it was also so fast an NHL goal judge couldn’t tell it went almost a foot under the crossbar. Had to have been 110 mph at least.

The Canadian Goalie was red hot. The Us made many good shots on goal that would have gone in against any other team. The Canadians were also brilliant in the neutral zone.

Hats off to the Canadian women AND the USA gals. They fought hard with a lot of heart. They both win! It was a fitting way to end the tournament filled with THE most rewarding women's hockey in history. They both annihilated all other contenders until they met each other.
