Yep — Loyal to the bone and the big reason why they were in such demand during warfare.

My dogs might. They are pugs, so kind of hard to tell.

We lost our protective German Shepherd last year. We all know Sirus didn’t know a bullet was coming or what it could do. But, they will always warn of someone coming and through sheer appearance can (in this case no) in many cases make a criminal think twice.

We now are experiencing the love/hate of having deer visit us. Our dog was constantly chasing (learned to be a silent/non barking tracker) deer and kept damage to plants at a minimum. We sure miss him.

I have no doubt that my cat would take a bullet for me— accidentally of course. And all of her 5 lbs might slow it down enough to only maim me.

My 114 lb dog, however, would catch the bullet with her teeth and spit it back at the shooter, causing grave injury to the perp.

Not really...
