Some female character who is portrayed in a positive light says in their fictional universe that they are the child of an accountant and the former governor of Alaska.
How is that a “dig” at Trig? Could you please explain what about that character was an attack on Trig? How did this put Trig in a bad light in any way? I’m serious, everybody is saying this is an attack on Trig, but nobody can explain what bad thing they say about either Trig or the teenage girl that makes it an attack.

No, it was clearly a dig at Sarah Palin, because she does have a child with DS, if anything it was to be a mash of Trig and Bristol. It was obvious in the way they depicted this girl, she was as obnoxious as could be, a serious jackhole, it was a snide depiction of how they believe a daughter of Palin would behave in similar circumstances.
I keep hearing how MacFarland *goes after both sides* -- so far, the only thing I've seen as hitting the left is Billy Jeff boinking Lois, hardly some insulting portrayal, considering. When I see an episode depicting the 0bama daughters incognito as truly fat black children (since they are not in any way), with all the inherent stereotypes, then I'll believe this guy hits both camps.
