I like the show too. A wonderful place to see all the breeds. Fun! That Whippet was adorable. At one point I thought that one would make the cut.

There is a diet on the web, and we used it for our over-weight lab. She had more energy her coat was shinier and she was less hungry.
For her - I would cook enough brown rice for a week and mix it with frozen mixed vegetables (thawed out but not cooked). Right before feeding her, I mixed the rice with raw ground meat(not less than 25% fat) and sprinkled Missing Link ( a dry mix with vitamins etc) on top. They should also be fed raw meat to get enough vitamin B in their diet.
According to the web site, dogs intestines are not meant for grazing, they should only be fed what they can eat at one time. By allowing the dog to eat as much and as often as they want you end up with a fatty.

After the first couple of days she got over feeling hungry all the time and the diet seemed to satisfy her hunger more than any other we had tried. They make this in a frozen variety and they are called Barff burgers but they are really expensive. We found that even though we were giving her raw meat it was less expensive than feeding her commercial dog food.

I miss the videos of Miss Beazley and Barney at Christmas time.
Good night it is late on the East Coast.

If it’s not a German Shepherd it’s not a dog, just a chew toy.
