The Scottish Terrier won tonight.
I understand your feeling about spoiler I use to do that with my East Coast friends, when I lived on the West Coast! :)
check your spelling
Second Place
Och, wha a wee little beastie.
That would have been nice... yep... just watching the end right now....

Indeed she is! Such a little bundle of love.
He..they are both boys..good boys..except for when they are both humping each other. I never understood the humping thing. They are both boys, yet they both hump each other. Maxie, since he weighs more, we have to pull him off of Nemo or else he could smush him LOL
He is cute! I have 4 Shih tzu. And one Pekashih. They are such clowns, you can’t help but love them.
The Westminster was Ok this year. At least the Poodle didn’t make the cut.
I love all dogs, but the Poodle with the Elvis look is too much.
Looks like Barney and Miss Beazley are back on top.
So much for “Bo” the shelter dog.
Can’t these people be truthful about anything?
Ironic that a Portugese Water Dog didn’t place, eh?
As for Sadie, she’s adorable. What a personality! Maybe she’ll get a chance to show the PETA freaks who crashed the party a thing or two.
This is from the Detroit Freep Press (barf)
Two women walked into the center ring at Madison Square Garden and held up signs that said Mutts Rule and Breeders Kill Shelter Dogs Chances, the latter a slogan popularized by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Sadie is owned by Amelia Musser of Mackinac Island.
The crowd of 15,000 gasped at the PETA-inspired protest, then booed the women and cheered as security ushered them away without incident. The women were charged with criminal trespass, police said.
The interruption lasted about a minute and was not featured on the USA Network telecast. Moments later, the 4-year-old Sadie climbed the purple best in show podium where one of the women had stood.
Our Maxie weighs about 18 pounds. The Vet gave him special low calorie dry food but he still weighs too much. I have read that Shih Tzu’s have issues with their lungs. What is the best way to help him lose some weight. The weight is an issue, especially when I take him for a walk, he is so nosy, he will just walk and sit down and not move, he did that today, waited 20 minutes and my Mom had to get a carrot and throw pieces of it on the floor to make him finally move. I would have picked him up but he weighs too much and I already have a hernia so I don’t want to make it worse.
Yeah, I LOVE dogs. They are so adorable, do you know why dogs hump each other. I know it’s a silly question its just weird that they do it to each other considering they are both boys
Wow, of course we didn’t see that. Ridiculous display that is uncalled for during this event.
I have been to the Westminster Dog Show, and it is a lovely event. When we went three year’s ago, you could go see the dogs in the back (Bench viewing). We saw most of the dogs, I understand now they have changed that, only a few dogs are available for Bench views. Probably for security for reasons in this age.
We were very happy that Bush’s dogs were chosen.
That scottie was a beautiful dog no doubt.
Except for the commercials that showed those poor dogs that are homeless, I really enjoyed the show. The ads make me want to go out and adopt them all.
I thought the poodle had the most gosh awful hair-do that it made me feel embarrassed for it. The little dog with dread locks was a cutie. The French bull dog had a face that only a mother could love but his eyes were liquid pools of love and intelligence. The Whippet had the cutest personality, although they are far from beautiful, this whippet had gorgeous markings and literally seemed to smile as it bounced around the arena. I thought the winner was a good choice but I don’t see how the judges can make the choice, I could see choosing the best of each breed but when you are choosing the best from each class and therefore comparing a scottish terrier to a whippet how do they do it?
This was the first time I have ever felt compelled to watch the entire dog show, and found it very interesting. I learned alot about dogs like the long floppy ears and wrinkles on the hounds allows them to hold onto scents.
I will watch it again.
