"24" Themed Countdown Clock (1 Minute)
Set in New York City, "Day Eight" unfolds amidst the shadows of the Statue of Liberty and the United Nations as President Allison Taylor (Jones), alongside new chief of staff ROB WEISS (Chris Diamantopoulos), negotiates international security with OMAR HASSAN (Anil Kapoor), a determined Middle Eastern leader visiting the U.S. on a peacemaking mission. As the new day begins, an upgraded CTU operates under the command of M.B.A.-schooled, razor-sharp head honcho BRIAN HASTINGS (Mykelti Williamson), who supervises quirky CHLOE O'BRIAN (Mary Lynn Rajskub), expert data analyst DANA WALSH (Katee Sackhoff) and systems analyst ARLO GLASS (John Boyd).
COLE ORTIZ (Freddie Prinze Jr.), an ex-Marine who wants to follow in Bauer's footsteps, leads field operations while Agent RENEE WALKER (Annie Wersching) returns with an agenda of her own. Created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, 24 is a production of 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television in association with Teakwood Lane Productions.

Chloe was terribly broken up when Edgar died, and that’s enough for me to classify him as one of the good guys.
As an aside, any character named Edgar makes me think of Edgar, or Egger as his wife called him, in “Men in Black”. LOL.

I came upon the secret to having my wife and my mom leave me alone for 24. I sitdown an hour early with them and watch Dancing with the Stars. Once they are hooked for the evening and it is time to watch Jack do his thing, I get up and leave. They do not even notice.

After watching ‘24’ I will be watching the season 3 finale of ‘Damages’. Looks like it will have a big body count for a show about civil lawyers.

There have been quite a few good series coming on TV lately. Justified on FX is very good. Fugitive Chronicles on A&E is riveting and action packed for a documentary series. Of course Damages is great. A&E had another terrific action packed series last year called The Beast with the late Patrick Swayze. He was great in that show.

I just remembered that Freckles is dead. I guess I’ve been in denial. Yes, I know Edgar is also still dead.

Edgar was one of the really good guys and probably the only real friend Chloe had there at CTU other than Jack.........It was a very sad day to watch him die.

I just remembered that Freckles is dead. Don't know why the writers felt that they had to go this far - still has me pissed. I thought letting Pompadour die would satisfy their "unexpected" quota.
To: Lucius Cornelius Sulla
Damages is having ratings problems. There was a rumor that one of the satellite tv companies might try to do a deal like ‘Friday Night Lights’ with NBC/DirectTV. But, I haven’t heard that the deal was made.
This could be the end of Damages.
==
Justified is pretty good.
==
Human Target is good, but it is also having ratings problems and in limbo for renewal next season.
To: Nasher
poof only markets so high and the Pompadour was three stories high at peak with a yield of 11% market demographics across the board...Now freckles on anyone is just so darn cute but a much larger demographic adding 27 % more market. So the woman had to die.Demographics said so

Audrey is still crazy!
She has irritated me on nearly every show she has been on. There is something about her that is just irritating.
To: Nasher
I’m still pissed as well that Audrey died. These last 7 hours better pay off. Prediction: Jack Bauer finally dies for good, once and for all, spectacularly, like maybe burned beyond recognition in a gasoline fire in hour 24.
To: LiberConservative
No Jack OR Freckles in the movie? Not gonna happen.
