Anyone with HBO should be watching “The Pacific”. Two episodes down, 8 to go. Great series so far.
could not GIVE me HBO..........
MILTON!! I couldn’t figure out who that guy was. He should have defended himself with a red Swingline.
Also predictable: Dana knows Cole killed the rednecks. She’ll blackmail him at some point. Will he go along?
The acting is horrendous and the plot too ridiculous. I only watch for the thread...like Idol, this season will be the last for many viewers.
LOL..yeah.
As someone suggested earlier, they are making it up as they go along.
Going to be interesting to see how the ManHands character plays out from here. Maybe she'll wind up on Dancing with the Stars.
He's been in so much stuff I would imagine the next twist is they will probably have him come back as another character, probably the one that kills ManHands.
.....probably Milton’s twin, a carnival transvestite from Louisanna searching for his long lost brother who also worked in the carnival and enjoyed posing as a parole officer.
I think it makes sense. She had a troubled past, turned it around, became skilled at computers. But there was no way she got a top-secret clearance to work at CTU with her past not being known.
The only question I had was whether the writers were too lazy to understand the background check process or not. IF they were lazy, her clearance was just a plot hole. But if not, she had to be a spy.
She obviously was recruitable — she had a past she had to hide; she proved she would break the law for her job, so why not break the law by taking money from our enemies?
A foreign government spy agency might have the ability to construct a fake past for her that could pass muster. Highly unlikely, but more likely than that the DoD clearance agency wouldn’t be able to match her fingerprints with her arrest record.
Of course, there still seems to be a plot hole. Her old boyfriend obviously new her by her old name, not the one she took, but was able to find her anyway, and he kept her secret in exchange for her help.
But the Probation Officer would ALSO have known her by the name she went by before, and he ALSO would therefore had to have tracked her down, and he would have NO REASON to keep her secret of the name change — plus the name change would have been a big red flag to him that she was up to no good.
This is often the problem with these types of stories. They try to be “clever” by hiding things from you but giving you clues — unfortunately, you have no idea what things are clues, and what are just mistakes by the writers.
An interesting twist now is that there were times she wasn’t able to inform her terror buddies what was happening, because she was off taking care of her problem. So rather than that hurting CTU, it might have helped, except of course that she was able to take Freddie out with her.
Plus, now they have a great possible plot line — Freddie figures it out, but she threatens to destroy his career over the murder coverup. Will he do the right thing, or save himself?
Nice analysis, CWT

~Grrrr is out of the country, I will be filling in , see you y’ll Monday
well damn!
Awwww. If they only could have made a season like Season 5 again. That was the pinnacle of Bauer Power Hour. The acting of Greg Itzin and Jean Smart was superb.
I am sad to see it go. Also, the thread is hilarious.
We need to come up with the perfect ending.
I think I have it. Bauer has just saved the world from terrorism and is about to take a break and get with his Freckles. She’s waiting in the car. He goes back into CTU for just one minute, when who should get through the Extra Tight CTU Security but Behroooz!
“You destroyed my family!!” He is wearing a suicide vest and is about to press the detonator.
His mother appears out of nowhere and screams the beloved line “BEH ROOOOOOOOOOOZ!!!!!!” It is too late. He blows up CTU, Bauer, and everyone there. There is a big explosion over NYC, seen from Central Park, where we see ex-Secret Service Agent Aaron and Chloe O’Brian sharing a sandwich. Aaron looks up and says “That’s a shame.” FADE TO BLACK.
Nah, Tony will take him out and ride off into the sunset with Freckles.
Of course, there still seems to be a plot hole. Her old boyfriend obviously new her by her old name, not the one she took, but was able to find her anyway, and he kept her secret in exchange for her help.

As I recall, the probation officer tracked her through the calls the redneck made to her cell phone. I don’t think there’s been any indication he knows her old identity.
