It does tend to take one’s breath away with the flamboyant colorfulness, doesn’t it?
Yes, it does.
The top left picture is in the ER looking out into receiving. The top middle picture is of a fellow patient and her friends. Yes, I did get permission before I took their picture. The remainder of the pics are of the corridor from the ER to Radiology. In the bottom right picture you can see people who are awaiting treatment of one sort or another. Non-emergency check-ins are processed and then they get to wait on those benches.
The sign in the top left picture says "Radiology Room". Through the door and you are right in the photo studio. The hospital is run by the Catholic church. They proudly proclaim their Christianity and have no interference to do so. You can see the cruxifix in the top right picture. This is the camera in the bottom left picture. The gentleman in the bottom center picture is the radiologist. He was very patient with all the pictures I was taking although it was odd for a patient to be taking the pics! The ladies in the bottom right pic are the technicians. They were gentle, kind and helpful.
"The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. ... We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means, it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now do you begin to understand me?"
--George Orwell, "1984"
Oh - I see...you want the tea party !! My mistake
LOL! Silly.
You travel a bit. I have a question about phones. Maybe you can answer.
I just bought a Nokia E72 phone which is 3G network capable. Is it possible to get it to work in the US? How would I go about getting it switched to a US carrier?
Ooops! I see I got the pictures mixed-up and left the picture of the camera out. Well, it wasn’t that thrilling and it can just stay out for a while.
I tried to get a picture of the lizards on the ceiling. I really don’t mind them as long as they stay on the ceiling. But every so often the “glue” on their feet doesn’t work so well. Splat! I’ve never seen a cicak (the lizard) get hurt from the fall but it can be disconcerting if they fall on you.
One time at the swimming pool, I wanted to use the ring bouy as a floatee. So I climbed up, grabbed the thing and let it sail into the pool. Well. There was a cicak (pronounced chee-chuck) on it. He stomped off the bouy, looked around as if to say, “okay, who did that to me? I’m mad now.” And he really did go stomping off across the top of the water, stopping every now and then to look for the miscreant who was the cause of all his misfortune.
Good evening. Beautiful flowers!
You might have lizards but I have what I think to believe 27 chinkens on my fromt porch this mornig.
