(CCW Vanity) Any FReepers have any experience with purpose-built concealed carry coat?

Anyone have experience with concealed carry coats with the built-in ambidextrous pistol pockets? Looking for pros/cons recommendations ...

Comfort? Print? Practicality?

e.g., http://www.freerepublic.com

Looking for options in addition to waist holsters and shoulder holsters.

Thanks for the advice

I’m Skeert. I busted 2 pins doing that.

I have this SIG/MAUSER 40 SW I was doing that with because the trigger felt like I was pulling my finger through 50 yards of gravel, but I have ceased the exercise.

I suppose I should spring for snap caps.

The KGB used it for 60 years.

Truth be told I really get off psychologically owning a couple of pieces of good Com-Block weaponry at dirt cheap prices. Especially considering the purpose for which I bought them, namely defending my Freedom in a SHTF situation.

Stalin would roll over in his grave...

Yea, I know I'm paranoid. I just worry about being paranoid enough. LOL. Thanks for the recommendation on the P64. I'll check those out. Looks like they'd be good for deep concealment.

The A-zooms cushion the pin better than a primer. If the gun breaks using those, it’s not to be depended on with actual ammo.

You THINK you can “tell” who’s carrying, but you can’t really. I can dress ten friends, five with and five without, all dressed the same, and you wouldn’t tell.

Ivan was a worth adversary.

It is interesting to be able to own their stuff now, and its pretty decent stuff.

I love the Czech stuff cuz they gave Ivan the finger and made their own designs.

No, a Sig P220. About the same size/weight though.

I love the old 1911.

Its slim but heavy, it pulls my britches down though.

I can go to a Kimber Pro Carry II but then muzzle rise and follow up is a problem.

I can out shoot that with a Rock Island GI 1911, but I cant carry it.

Even if I fixed this Sig/Mauser piece of **** it is the size of a brick.

It’s very accurate its just a worthless POS

I can shoot Sig 357 in it which is cool put it is still an accurate brick with a lousy trigger

Wow. Very nice. And they have TALL sizes too. Nice.

Tough trade though: One jacket at roughly $500 delivered, or ~1000+ rounds of .45 ACP.

I’ll need to find some spare money.

Really sharp though.

That's the reason Hitler invaded Sudetan. He wanted the arms factories.

I've got a Combat Commander that I carried for years. Yea, it's heavy but IMO it's the best compromise in that design.

Can't go wrong with John Brownings finest.

Agreed.

I got an officers model and the original but the Commander is the finest design.

That’s prolly why the Commander is right here ready to go.
