What does Palin need to do to lower her unfavoribles ?

Posted on 02/11/2010 4:11:59 PM PST by se_ohio_young_conservative

Do a majority of Americans honestly believe she is stupid ? I mean, seriously ?

How can her unfavoribles be so high ? What did she do wrong ? What is she not doing right ?

What does she need to do ? Take a nationally televised IQ test ?

I don't understand why so many regular people think the way they do about her. What happened ?

Why on earth would any President NEED a head full of Political Trivia? Truly! I don't care if someone running for President doesn't know all the histories of every country, or even the names of each of the Heads of State. All that can be learned, by an reasonably smart person, and Sarah is nothing, if not smart.

What I want in a President is someone who can admit when they don't know enough about a subject, but can find someone who does, to educate them. I also want someone with good strong character, and who is a natural born leader, with solid accomplishments, who won't lie to the citizens of this country about what he or she believes, in order to be 'liked' or 'accepted'. Give it to us straight, and we can make the decision whether or not to support them.

Yes, I think she's wise...beyond her years.

I also believe wisdom and character are basic, critical elements of leadership.

I also believe knowledge is a critical element of leadership.

In Obama's case, knowledge is all he has.

I stand resolute that it takes ALL THREE...and Palin could obtain the 3rd in a couple of years with great effort on her part. It won't be easy to obtain.

Every person on the planet is liked and disliked.

There is always going to be a valid percentage of people that don't like Sarah or you or me ... it just is.

Personally (and I am as objective as a conservative American can be {I think} ) ... Sarah Palin in a sense assaults people.

We whom love her are taken by her charisma, her presence and what she says.

I think the detracters are ALSO taken by her ..... they just choose to internalize her as salt rather than sugar.

Its called disinformation, propaganda and/or politics of personal destruction. All of which are primary tools in the demrat left’s quivver.

Actually, the drumbeat of absurd allegations from demrats and RINOs seems to be rolling off Palin’s back. I think the demrat tactic is backfiring on them.

Palin doesn’t have to do anything but be seen and heard to discredit her critics.

I’m glad you asked this. She should shoot and field-dress a moose live on Fox News. Then do the same thing with a terrorist.

I believe that, with the schedule of this year, Sarah Palin will grow exponentially to a level of political ability that will leave the field of contenders in the dust.

There are three main reasons: (1) The MSM has decided that Palin is not smart enough to be POTUS, and they have repeated that mantra so often that many people now believe it. (2) Her interview with Couric was a disaster. That reinforced what the MSM wanted people to believe. McCain did not help the situation. (3) She is an attractive women. There are still many men that will not support a women. The feminists hate attractive women. What she has to do is prove that she is intelligent and informed. The real test will be in debates. She has to shine.

I'm fairly certain most people don't view her unfavorably. It's the White House and their media who put this junk out.

I'll ask you this. Only one year into the Obama term (nightmare), which of all potential opponents has the White House attacked publicly? Huckabee?....nope. Romney?....nope. Pawlenty?....nope again. Only Palin.

Now why would that be?

What Sarah needs to do is ignore titles like the title of this thread.

What does she need to do?

Exactly what she is doing. Keep speaking, writing, appearing as a FOX contributer, helping candidates, and raising money.

Again, just like during the campaign and shorty after, Palin was overexposed. I, like many of us, were starting to suffer from Palin Burnout. It’s happening again. She needs to go back home to AK for a few months and stay low.

I sincerely doubt it. I’ve noticed her detractors are consistent in finding something wrong in nearly every choice she makes.

Take McCain out of the mix, they would just move to another issue with which to beat her supporters over the head.

Some of her choices have given some pause and I can understand folks the just still have questions but I am not talking about those folks. There are others here that I think who are actively campaigning against her for whatever reason. She has stepped on some pretty big toes doing the right things, especially those who like their politics as usual

Damn the unfavorables. More leftist/Alinsky isolation/ridicule/demonization ofthe target.

Palin is doing just fine. When she took the VP offer from McCain, she agreed to stump for him. I’m sure it’s a bitter pill for her to swallow, but she’s upholding her word.

She’s doing just fine. The fact that she is NOT in elected office and yet the Left is trying so hard to destroy her is all the proof we need that SHE, and the patriotic rallying cry she invokes in THE PEOPLE is what they FEAR.
