LONDON - Brilliant and controversial British fashion designer Alexander McQueen was found dead in his London home today after anguished Internet postings that revealed his deep sorrow at the death of his mother. He was 40 years old.

The circumstances pointed to a possible suicide but there was no official confirmation from police or McQueen's publicists. Police said the death was not suspicious, apparently ruling out foul play, and did not give any immediate indication of how the death was discovered. More Times Breaking News

The Sun tabloid on Thursday cited an anonymous source on its Web site who said an ambulance was called at 10 a.m. and workers found McQueen hanging in his apartment. The newspaper gave no further details.

Death by anguish a sad thing; death from anguish - and by one’s hand - a very sad thing as well.

Some of his stuff was weird, but I have couple of his dresses and an incredible skirt that I would wear everyday if I could. Gorgeous!!

The best thing about him was he wore kilts to his shows. Very sad.

Those things lookm dangerous...

Think of the risks...

the need to carry oxygen for the height...

Dogs P ing against the heel

The crooked man wanting his walking stick back

Poking your toe in someones eye

Youd need good insurance

After it was announced Thursday that Alexander McQueen had died, the designer’s Twitter feed was removed, on which he revealed on Feb. 3 that his mother passed away the day before. A few days later he said, “Sunday evening been an F—-g awful week but my friends have been great, but now I have to some how [sic] pull myself together and finish with the…”

On Feb. 1, a couple of weeks after his Fall 2010 menswear show, he posted, “From heaven to hell and back again, life is a funny thing. Beauty can come from the most strangest of places even the most disgusting places.” A few minutes later, he posted: “Why people ignore the ugly things in life but within this they are missing the beauty that lies under the rotten fruit!!!!!!!!!!!!”

On Feb. 3, he tweeted that his mother had passed away the day before. “RIP mumxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,” he said. And a few minutes later: “But life must go on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

His last tweet, sometime after Feb. 7, said: “I’m here with my girl Annie Tinkerbell wishing Kerry the slag, happy birthday in NY, your [sic] 40 now girl time to slow it down we think.”

Pats lost all their on field old guy butt kickers of the new/young guys. They’ve been playing like trust fund kids the last few years. Lost a lot of coaching talent. They might well be hollowed out. Belicheck might be ready for the rubber room. Brady seems to want a second career as a GQ model.

I rooted for the ‘aints, but wouldn’t take the bet.

Colts looked like the Patriots. Thought they had it in the bag. Can’t do that in the Pro’s.
