“Barry Manilow...Duck and cover time...”

Hahahahaha...not my cup of tea as a singer, but put on some great shows...hard to argue with the numbers he rang up in sales, too...I think he is still near the top sales all time?

Neil Diamond's absence from the list is a song sung blue for sure.

Bing Crosby is supposedly the greatest singer ever. He was good.

Josh Groban has to be on that list. He honestly has among the best voices I’ve ever heard. I’d put Harry Connick Jr. on there, too.

I like Toby Keith and Brad Paisley a lot ... but I won’t pretend they’re even in the ballpark.

Forget Roger Whitaker. He was the creation of a company similar to K-tel to sell albums on TV.

I think WGN in Chicago was the only station I knew that played his stuff.

Glad there are some other Tim Buckley fans here; so yeah, he’s on my list.
For sheer vocal beauty, he’s without peer!
God rest his soul!

I would rather listen to - and I will get flamed for it - Cat Stevens work versus Leonard Cohen. A lot of it was lefty crap and he has beccome a hard core Muslim but some of the songs were quite good. So weird because I think he was born a Christian Cypriot? He totally lost the plot.

A list which omits Bing Crosby was obviously made up by a baby boomer.
