Rahm Emanuel's penchant for profanity has now drawn the ire of Sarah Palin. The ex-Alaska governor is demanding President Obama fire the White House chief of Staff for remarks she says were disparaging of the disabled.

In a strategy session between White House aides and progressive groups, Emanuel called a plan to air attack ads against fellow Democrats opposed to health-care legislation 'f----ing retarded.' The remarks were reported in the Wall Street Journal.

Well, I don’t know about being disciplined. He should look into getting his tuition money back from his Master’s program. I can’t say if the same is true with his undergraduate degree in dance. Anyone with a Master’s degree in speech and communication really wasted his money if he couldn’t express himself more elegantly than this.

Of course, there are advanced degrees, and there are advanced degrees. Lax academic standards are nothing new in grad school, and from all appearances Mr. Emanuel may have “squeeked by” when he received his degree.

Why not? Others have been fired for much less. Besides...he brings a gutter approach to the table with that kind of irresponsible and insensitive language. I believe the term “retarded” has been removed from most things. Therefore, why does he get a pass for using the term and in such an ugly, evil way?
