They filmed all around me for several weeks this past summer. It was fascinating. I really hope they do a good job!

A lot of it was filmed in the Detroit area. Bombs going off, chase scenes with lots of gunfire.
And nobody noticed anything out of the ordinary...

I have seen the original at least a hundred times. My dad and I use to watch it on a copied VCR tape all the time when I was younger. I look back at it now an think he was grooming me to be a Conservative.

I’ve got the original on DVD. Somehow I don’t think this remake will be able to compare. And, WHY do they need to remake these films in the first place? Has there suddenly been a culling of script-writers out there?
I’ve got the DVD, I suppose I could pop it in and give you a confirmation on the exact quote... In fact, I think I will. It’s been a few months since I’ve watched it. Oh, and yes, I’ve forced all my kids to watch the movie, although they were well on their way to being Conservatives already! LOL

Let me rephrase: They filmed in my neighborhood and town for several weeks this past summer!! They did have port-a-potties set up outside my fence around my backyard for the crew, but I doubt they filmed them!
