Important Message to our Fans
It was always our pleasure, our purpose in life, our passion and we were fortunate enough to make music for you - whether it was live on stage or in the studio, creating new songs.
While we were working on our album these past few months, we could literally feel how powerful and creative our work was and how much fun we were still having, in the process. But there was also something else: We want to end the Scorpions extraordinary career on a high note. We are extremely grateful for the fact that we still have the same passion for music weve always had since the beginning. This is why, especially now, we agree we have reached the end of the road. We finish our career with an album we consider to be one of the best we have ever recorded and with a tour that will start in our home country Germany and take us to five different continents over the next few years.
We want you, our fans, to be the first to know about this. Thank you for your never-ending support throughout the years!
We uploaded the very first snippets from our new album for you.
And now lets get the party started and get ready for a Sting in the Tail!
See you on the world tour,
Yours
Scorpions
No.. they always sucked. What I would call a bubblegum hard rock band that started inthe ealry 70’s give or take.
The Zoo????
anyone?
After their last concert each scorpion plans to cross a river on the back of a frog.
Though he left the band before their heydady, Michael Schenker was one of my favorite guitarists.
I'm trying to place these song titles and I just can't.
Is that "Arizona" as in "Arizona, take of your indian braids...Arizona, have another look..."
why isn’t this is Breaking News?
Ahhhhhhhh how could I forget The Zoo? It’s only on classic rock stations every 3 hours!
Michael Schenker was one of my favorite guitarists
WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY underrated.
Saw them 4 times....I just them...Micheal Schenker too....
Well Rush will be touring this Summer so let’s hope the economy improves somewhat so we can go see some shows then ;)
The “Brett Favre” of rock bands.
I saw MSG open for Rush...I was sold on Schenker that night.
Best Album Cover, ever.
Oh I love Rush too....They were fantastic at the Garden....
They had to change the cover to “Lovedrive” eventually.
Have you seen the original cover to their “Virgin Killer” album? Like I said, I heard that in some places it was illegal to own, tho I’m not sure about that. Take a look @ it & you’ll see why.
“The Brett Favre of rock bands.”
No that would have to be The Who. I saw them on their “last Who tour” in 1982...about 15 tours ago.
Yep 40 years later and it is still fresh and could released today and it would be hit again. Here you go some live Captain Beyond 1972 enjoy.

Yep I really liked MS’s work with UFO. Some really good stuff from those guys. Here is MSG doing Into the Arena a video from 1981.
Heavy Metal Ping!
As talented as this lineup was, I am disappointed that they released only 2 albums. BOTH of CB’s 1st 2 albums, IMO, are among the greatest albums ever made.
Rod then left & “Dawn Explosion” was released, & I am not too thrilled about that one, tho it’s not too bad.
