Important Message to our Fans

It was always our pleasure, our purpose in life, our passion and we were fortunate enough to make music for you - whether it was live on stage or in the studio, creating new songs.

While we were working on our album these past few months, we could literally feel how powerful and creative our work was – and how much fun we were still having, in the process. But there was also something else: We want to end the Scorpion’s extraordinary career on a high note. We are extremely grateful for the fact that we still have the same passion for music we’ve always had since the beginning. This is why, especially now, we agree we have reached the end of the road. We finish our career with an album we consider to be one of the best we have ever recorded and with a tour that will start in our home country Germany and take us to five different continents over the next few years.

We want you, our fans, to be the first to know about this. Thank you for your never-ending support throughout the years!

We uploaded the very first snippets from our new album for you.

And now… let’s get the party started and get ready for a “Sting in the Tail”!

See you on the world tour,

Yours

Scorpions

After their last concert each scorpion plans to cross a river on the back of a frog.

I was in several cover bands in the 70's, 80's and 90's and we did A LOT of Scorpions songs. "The Zoo' was my favorite, but i liked "Blackout" (we used to call it "play golf - listen to to the lyrics) "Big City Nights", "Another Piece of Meat" and "Arizona". "Animal Magnetism" had some good songs as well.

Though he left the band before their heydady, Michael Schenker was one of my favorite guitarists.

"Arizona".

I'm trying to place these song titles and I just can't.

Is that "Arizona" as in "Arizona, take of your indian braids...Arizona, have another look..."

They had to change the cover to “Lovedrive” eventually.

Have you seen the original cover to their “Virgin Killer” album? Like I said, I heard that in some places it was illegal to own, tho I’m not sure about that. Take a look @ it & you’ll see why.

“The “Brett Favre” of rock bands.”

No that would have to be The Who. I saw them on their “last Who tour” in 1982...about 15 tours ago.

Cool!!! Congrats on bands I know that was some good times. :) We've had “Rock You Like a Hurricane” in our warm up list for quite awhile. It is just one of those songs we all enjoy playing and that you can really limber up the fingers and get into the mood to rock with.

Yep I really liked MS’s work with UFO. Some really good stuff from those guys. Here is MSG doing Into the Arena a video from 1981.

As talented as this lineup was, I am disappointed that they released only 2 albums. BOTH of CB’s 1st 2 albums, IMO, are among the greatest albums ever made.

Rod then left & “Dawn Explosion” was released, & I am not too thrilled about that one, tho it’s not too bad.
