Turn on the retro channels. There are at least three somewhere on the cable list. I myself gave up cable six years ago and now watch retro more than the big three channels.

I watched a week ago, the debut of “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” with my daughter. The first five (5) scenes were about sex. In the scene with one of the moms (former melrose place star), she was with her boyfriend in bed. The guy’s elderly mother lets herself in his apartment because he didn’t answer the phone. After the mother leaves, they comment that she’s not like “Republicans”. (I suppose they meant prudish, values) and then Josie (melrose place) a mother in the show, talks about “Obama”.

Can they get anymore transparent?

My daughter and discussed how disgusting this show was.

“A New Kind of Family”? Definitely. Not my kind of “family”.

You are very late. One of the first shows they had after being bought by ABC was a show about shacking up.

You will often see/hear a network disclaimer that, “The following broadcast may or may not agree with the owners of this network” or something like that. When Pat Robertson’s 700 Club broadcast starts, ABCF states, “The following broadcast does NOT ...”. He made a mistake in selling his network to the Beast.

Haven’t watched tv in years, rent the occasional dvd and spend most time on the internet. Haven’t even bought a newspaper in years either. You’d be surprised that you can lie without it. Far far easier than quitting cigarettes and I did that too..
