Watching "ABC Family" earlier today with the kids. The show was about cheerleaders and there was this exchange between 2 teen boys:
Boy 1: "Did you get some ass? Boy 2: "Ass?" Boy 1: "You know, like in a porn movie. Did you get some ass?"

Their idea of family is not the same as ours.Exactly. The kind of comments that are typical around the Democrat dinner table may not always be appropriate for normal, traditional American families, and ABC should remember that there are a lot of decent people who turn on the TV for light entertainment from time to time.

“Sounds more like you were watching CSpan.”
Sounds like a CSpan interview with Barney Franks.

We haven’t viewed any network television in our house for over 15 years. I recommend you and your family do likewise. There’s far better programming out there than on ABC, NBC, or CBS.

Last night I tried to watch an episode of “Weeds”, i.e. suburban mom resorts to selling dope to raise her family. I was repulsed by two minutes in, gave it another 10 then turned it off. What vomit. Liberals idea of family is psychotic. I’ll take leave it to beaver any day, at least it was funny and had a moral theme.

I turned in my cable box yesterday and cancelled.
Haven’t watched TV for years, though.

When I’m flipping through the channels I am always sure to skip over certain networks in the fear I will be counted as watching them thus supporting their sponsors.

I love Leave It to Beaver! My fav episode is when he climbs up the billboard and into the coffee cup.

Saddest part about this is, that’s really the way teenagers talk to each other. And not just the boys anymore. Girls are just as bad.

I’m with you. Shut off the teevee service last year. A very good decision. More people should try it.

Turn on the retro channels. There are at least three somewhere on the cable list. I myself gave up cable six years ago and now watch retro more than the big three channels.

We usually don't watch network TV which is why I may have been caught offguard. When I saw the ABC Family logo, and it was afternoon-I thought it would be ok. Wow was I wrong!

When did ABC Family jump the shark? The day it went on air?
I am always appalled at what people allow into their homes.
