All the Cowboys haters lining up here are not about this year, either. They are all “living in the past” as you say.

Though it is ironic to see Viking fans praising a QB that has beat their team down for so many years. ;)

As a Bears fan I find it awful hard to root for him.

I don't have any team to root for out of the four left. I probably won't watch anymore football till next year.

I don’t have sour grapes about anything. I’m an Eagles fan and the Eagles were not a playoff caliber team this year and it showed last week. I didn’t have any expectations for the Eagles as I thought they’d bite the dust.

As far as Romo vs. McNabb, you could make the case that they are both chokers, but McNabb is an over the hill choker while Romo still has many years to prove otherwise. That’s why I’d take the Romo-McNabb trade.

The Vikings look awesome, no doubt about that.

After yukking it up at the end of the cowboys-falcons game, Brooking got what he deserved.

As a Bears fan, I'm sure you don't even like the position of Quarterback. You probably even had an awful hard time rooting for Jim McMahon.

Not sure if that's a slam.

Who do yoopers root for? Detroit or Green Bay?

The Bears have always done well with mediocre or even poor quarterbacks, mostly by making the other teams quarterbacks look mediocre or poor.

In 1968 I became a Vikings fan. My father and brother disowned me. Most of the UP is Packer Country.

LOL and oh so true. My dad was born and raised in the UP of Michigan and has been a Packer Backer going way back. I was too because it was a generational thing. I am not a Packer fan anymore; I am a Vikings fan. My dad is still a Packer fan, but he admires Brett so for the remainder of the season, he is a Vikings fan. I hope the Vikings defense plays the remainder of the season like they played yesterday. Very impressive. Enjoy the next game.

After seeing the Packers suffer for so many years under poor coaching, Holmgren and Farve won me over. Ever since, I have had two teams to enjoy. When they play each other, I'm still more of a Vikings fan. I was hoping for both of them to play each other at the Metrodome next week, but that didn't work out so well. To tell you the truth, I have lived away from Great Lakes area for so long, I even like the Bears. The Lions on the other hand...never!

I hate the Cowboys for the present. In the present they’re owned by Jerry Jones who makes me sick, and they play in a dome which I think the NFL should outlaw.

Holmgren and Brett are to be admired. The current administration and the “can't get over it” fans did it for me and I will most likely never be a Packer fan again. I would like to see Brett go all the way to the SB. I think he deserves it. I checked out your profile. My dad is from Ironwood. Sounds like you were from the same area. Cold, cold, cold. He and I live in Florida now. I love being able to watch the games with him. We both have similar styles. Don't talk to me during the game and don't look at me strangely when I yell at the TV. Love it.

Just be thankful you don’t live in Arlington and have to pay taxes for Jerry World

I grew up in Beechwood, 10 miles west of Iron River. I used to love skiing at Indian Head Mountain near Bessemer. Iron River area is colder that Ironwood, but Ironwood gets much more snow.

What happened with Farve and GB is the fault of the GM. Tough call, when you have two QB's like Farve and Rodgers and neither one wants to sit on the bench. Once you find your team in that situation, there is no good way to handle it other than to be civil about it all. I think they did the right thing by keeping Rodgers, but they need to get an offensive line to protect him. He gets hammered harder than any other QB in the league and somehow still gets back up each time. I think Green Bay will be on top of the North more than the Vikings in the next 10 years, mostly because of Rodgers.

Not sure how any fingers point at Romo. He had zero time and his receivers weren’t open at all.

Wow... I agree. Romo must ache all over today. He just got killed.

And Favre was awesome.

Brooking's comments after the game against Atlanta:"We took it to them. We bloodied their noses, and then we stepped on them and kicked them to the ground. So that’s a good feeling."

Yeah, it is.

Good grief .... yeah, they got their arses kicked. But Romo choked? That was not a choke... it was a good, old fashioned whooping.

Romo got little protection from his offensive line.

Garrett kept calling that stupid delayed hand-off which resulted in nothing but negative yards.

But most of all, they faced a team that was way better than them on this particular day.

Romo will still be next year’s starter. Wade will still be the coach. They had a good season. The Vikes just outplayed them ... on both sides of the line.

IMO the Cowboys will not have success until they have a new owner.....Jerry Jones needs to allow the people he hires to do their jobs and he should not be the face of the Cowboys....

Now THAT is the most accurate statement so far. Jones meddles too much and needs to quit getting so involved.

McNabb, born November 25, 1976, is 33 years old. Tony Romo, born April 21, 1980, is 30 years old. Brett Favre, born October 10, 1969, is 40 years old. Over the hill choker? Romo only has 3 years on McNabb. I’d be a bit careful labeling someone as “over the hill” when there’s such small difference in age between the two. Both of them have demonstrated time and again how they choke when it comes to the “big” games. I think Brett Favre’s record speaks for its self. FYI, I’m a 43 year 49er fan (and, a 40 year Patriots fan (raised in a 49er household, but at age 10 I really liked the helmet logo of the Patriots, for which I suffered much ribbing from my step-father)

Oh, and you should know that I’ve always like the Eagles too (that is, until they signed Vick - when he leaves the Eagles I’ll start rooting for them again).
