Interesting possibilities. The AFC championship is a Super Bowl rematch and unless the Colts decide to wear their whites, the teams will be wearing the same uniforms. Favre has the possibility of being the first starting QB to win Super Bowls with two teams. The Saints could go to their first Super Bowl, and the Vikings could win their first Super Bowl.

If the Saints win the Super Bowl, can you imagine Bourban Street?

D’ah, forgot my picks.
I pick Vikings to beat the Saints.
And I expect the Jets to beat the Colts.

Got it. Would you mind using this avatar? Yours pixelates when I take it up to the standard 100 width.

Vikings and Jets. Defense and o-lines win championships.

Colts for sure.
Dang, 2nd game is a toss-up. I’d like to see the Saints finally get to a Super Bowl, but OTOH, I’d like to see Favre get another ring.
OK, since I think my Cowboys coulda done better if they hadn’t got rattled early and I still think they are the best all around team to make the playoffs (except for that lame FG kicker, LOL), I gotta go with the Vikings.
[The missed field goals and the injury to Flozell Adams got my Boys spooked early and they never recovered.]
So that’s it - Colts and Vikings to the SuperBowl.

Wonder if Romo is at home reading up on Arena Ball rules about now. LOL
Actually he put his application in at the Wendy's off Central for the position of assistant to the assistant fry cook.
With the fries in the basket already, he shouldn't have to worry too much about dropping them.

First, let me thank all of you for your prayers and FR-mails of sympathy and support. It is heartfelt more than can every be repaid. A death in one's family puts sports into its proper prospective. Yes, I very, very much wanted to have my Cowboys in the Super Bowl this year, but I would trade all that and more to not be going through the bereavement I am now deep within.
That said, I was on the road and listen to most of the game on radio, thus spared having to watch the debacle. Yes, my 'Boys got their heads handed to them, but they had a good season over all and put that 'Cannot WIN a playoff game!' curse finally to rest.
However, it never fails to amuse me at the Cowboy and Tony R haters who flock like buzzards after a train wreck when Dallas does not win.
I wanted them to win, but they came up against a better team yesterday. The Viks had Dallas' number and my 'Boys didn't make the adjustments to change things. Simple yet if they played the game next week, it may be the other way round. That is the goal of the National Football League parity.
I enjoy poking fun and do not suffer fools easily but the childishness, rank pettiness and profuse vindictiveness of the 'I hate Dallas worse than the Devil or Obama' posters here within makes me realize that old adage that 'you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make him drink' has a corollary:
And, here on FR, you can lead a schmuck to civility, but you cannot make him stop picking his nose.
BTW Hows 'bout them Jets?
