Calling off the dogs when the game is fully in hand is good sportsmanship

Bad sportsmanship is a 100-0 score in a high school basketball game between two teams that shouldn't be playing each other. Bad sportsmanship in the NFL is Randy Moss taking plays off, not Brett Favre refusing to.

Having a great time dissecting a defense that was supposed to be such a force, to the delight of your fans (and Cowboy haters) as your last game at home with them comes to an end, is simply entertainment, and giving fans their money's worth. We like watching our Rent-a-QB throw passes. Network suits do too. It's especially sweet after hating watching him throw them for a hated rival for so long. If it makes you feel better we'll "call off the dogs" next week when the game is fully in hand. I'll call Brad and let him know that's the plan. (Actually, I make no predictions. Anybody's game).

Yes this is a blast, I’ve enjoyed hanging around these last two weekends.
We’re (wife, kids & I) bonafide Panthers fans now, stuck with them thru a tough season, looking forward to a great run next season. I don’t think we’ll ever go back to the Eagles as long as Lurie & Banner are there.
I’ll definitely be here next year as a passionate supporter of the Carolina Panthers.

Yes it is. I hadn’t really thought about the last 3 years but he is showing those signs.

If I was hit once a YEAR like he is 10-20 times a game, my body would be 119 years old.

But I don’t understand how he can do well during the year and then just go away in the post season. Kind of the opposite of Kareem in his heyday (joke).

i missed all 4 games this weekend .... alarm went off at 4:20 a.m. this morning to go leafletting for Scott Brown.

I actually got up without protesting. Me and my teammate distributed 1900 flyers to targeted voters ... just got home at 9pm.
